Catherine believes that excellence in design is achieved through good communication with her clients. She enjoys the process of developing a landscape plan that best serves each client’s needs and loves the challenge of each new project.

An initial meeting allows Catherine to see the site, and talk with the client about how the space is used and the changes that are desired. Catherine then puts together a design proposal based on the project scope discussed at the first meeting. Once the proposal is accepted, Catherine conducts a site survey, taking photos and measurements. Next she develops a landscape plan and plant palette.

After presenting a comprehensive plan and palette, Catherine helps her client strategize about the best way to implement the design.

Design fees vary widely based on the scope of the project, but typically start at $500.

Catherine offers installation services on projects of varying scales.  Once a plan is in place, Catherine can provide a planting proposal, estimating the total cost of implementing the project.  Once an installation proposal is accepted, Catherine then  sources the best quality plants from a network of nurseries and specialty growers.

Catherine is also happy to work with clients who would like to install their plantings over a period of seasons rather than all at once.  In these instances, she can advise clients on how to stage their project to best effect, both logistically and financially.
